Fredericton Christian Academy is an independent university preparatory school in Fredericton, New Brunswick for students in Kindergarten to Grade 12. We are approved by the New Brunswick Department of Education. We also provide childcare through our Early Childhood Learning Centre (ECLC) for children 6 months to 5 years of age.

Fredericton Christian Academy encourages participation in a variety of activities that help prepare students for life’s challenges. Athletics and other extra-curricular programs are also important to a student’s total educational experience.
The Christian School is an extension of the Christian home in training young people in the Christian environment. The school offers classes for students from Kindergarten through grade 12 using the A Beka Christian curriculum that is integrated with the New Brunswick Department of Education programs.
Close to 100% of our graduates go on to college/university successfully. Fredericton Christian Academy graduates go on to top universities worldwide. Recent graduates have successfully been accepted to McGill University, Mount Allison University, University of Western Ontario, Dalhousie University, University of New Brunswick, Saint Thomas University, Simon Fraser University, Indiana University, and Baylor University. Also, FCA offers significant scholarships to graduating students, totalling more than $100,000 per year.
The school building is open at 8:00AM each morning.

Parents are responsible for transporting their children to and from school.
For class activities parent volunteers are enlisted to transport students. (Note: We follow NB safety guidelines for student transportation. Any vehicle transporting students must have proper insurance and must be equipped with winter snow tires between October 15th to April 30th.)
All students are to be picked up promptly at the end of the school day. Supervision is not provided, by the school, for students after 3:30PM.
If you require after school care for your child, please contact our Early Childhood Learning Centre to see if there are any openings available in their After School Program.
The School Supply List is sent out via email by August 1st for the coming school year. If you register after August 1st, be sure to check under Downloads for the current School Supply List.
Some teachers may add items to the supply list during class time on the first day of school.
Supplies for Kindergarten students are included in their school fee. Parents need only to supply School bags,lunch bags and indoor sneakers.
FCA does not have a school uniform, instead we follow dress guidelines. Theses guidelines are listed in the FCA School Handbook.
Hot lunch is served Monday to Thursday. Order forms can be obtained through the homeroom teacher or the school office.
FCA is a member of The Association of Christian Schools International (ASCI). ACSI "is a Christian educational organization. We advance excellence in Christian schools by enhancing the professional and personal development of Christian educators and providing vital support functions for Christian schools."
Fredericton Christian Academy was established by Devon Park Baptist Church in 1976. The school was located in the basement of the church building from 1976 - June 2014. In June of 2014, Devon Park Christian School changed it's name to Fredericton Christian Academy and in September, of the same year, moved to it's present location at 778 MacLaren Ave.
Fredericton Christian Academy has partnered with BC Online School.ca to provide greater learning opportunities for our students. Through the online course selection students will have a greater variety of courses to choose from, all from a Christian perspective.
Saint Thomas University and Fredericton Christian Academy have made an agreement whereby students in their senior year at FCA can take a course from STU, the cost of which would be covered by the university. Students can take an entry level university course and earn a credit toward university, and toward their High School graduation.

UNB has partnered with Fredericton Christian Academy to offer courses to FCA students who are in their senior year. The cost of the course is covered by the university. Students who successfully pass can earn a credit toward university and toward their High School graduation.
